Patrice Griggs

Anna Patrice Moore passed away on November 24, 2021 in Austin, Texas.  Patrice was born to Fred B Moore Jr. and Bernice Moore on February 16, 1958. Patrice attended grade school and high school in Hamlin. She received her BS degree from Baylor University. Patrice married Dwight Griggs on October 6, 1984.

Patrice had an infectious smile and a tenacious love for life and her family. She loved her work with 3M. She had many lifelong friends from her more than 30 years with the company.  She was an avid animal lover, and after retirement she enjoyed traveling and spending time with her friends, family and pups.  Her smile and joy that was brought into all of our lives will be deeply missed.

Patrice was preceded in death by her spouse, Dwight Griggs; parents, Fred B Moore Jr. and Bernice Bogden Moore; brother, Fred Barry Moore III; sister Jeanette Moore and grandparents Fred Barry Moore Sr. and Jeanette Calhoun Moore.

Loved ones surviving Patrice are her brother, Robert Moore (Marcia) and twin brother, David Moore (Julie).

Also, Patrice’s nieces and nephews, Hayley Moore Richey (Trey), Borden County; Lauren Moore Caldwell (Cliff), Sterling City; Fred B Moore IV, Ft Worth; Miranda Moore Hoaldridge (Ethan), Ft Worth; Meredith Moore Gambill (Michael), Ft Worth;   Courtney Moore Bell (Jeff), Southlake; Derek Moore (Amber), Hamlin;  Damon Moore (Casey), Dallas; Jon David Moore (Carrie), Hamlin; Emilee Moore, Hamlin, along with a great many nieces and nephews .  Also remembering her are her close friends, Melissa Madden, Debbie Jordan Himsel, Elaine Carlton Shearer and Debra Hollis Pruett.

A Celebration of Life for Patrice will be held on December 10, 2021 from 5PM to 8 PM at 444 NW Avenue A, Hamlin Texas.
