Janice Peoples

Janice Kay Cork Peoples, of Dallas, Texas,  passed away on March 27, 2021 at her home.  Janice was born March 27, 1958 to Janie and Artholas Cork in Hamlin, Texas.  She was 63 years old.  A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 11:00 am at Hamlin Memorial Cemetery in Hamlin with the Reverend Danny Edmond officiating.

Janice attended Hamlin schools where she was an 8th grade cheerleader and was active in basketball and track in high school. Following her graduation from Hamlin High School in 1977, she attended Graham Barber College in Dallas and was employed by Graham Barber Shop. Janice married Jeffrey Peoples and to this union, no children were born.

She is preceded in death by her father; her brother, Johnny; and her nephew, Michael Dewayne Cork.

Janice is survived by her mother, Janie Cork of Hamlin; one sister, Lois (Faye) of Dallas; one brother, (Jackie) Don and his wife Mattie of Lake Dallas; and one niece, Ashley.
