Jack Wright

Jack Wright, 85, beloved husband and father, was called to his eternal resting place on October 19, 2020. He entered this world on March 27, 1935 in Leuders, TX, born to John "Jack" and Bobby Nell Wright. He was proceeded in death by his parents, his wife JoAnn Wright and his brother Bob Lynn Wright. He is survived by his daughter, Melinda Miller and her husband Anthony Sperry, son Keanan Wright and his wife Cindy; son Randy Wright and his wife Rhonda, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and his brother, Ted Wright and his wife Lucy, his other "brother" Bill Goodman and his wife Leta Goodman along with many cousins whom he was very close to.

Jack served in the Navy from 1953 to 1961 during the Korean conflict. He was a radio repairman for the state of Texas Highway Services for many years and after several moves, moved to Lubbock, Tx where he retired from the Texas Department of Public Safety remaining until his passing. He was a great fan of Texas Tech sports and working on clocks and wood working projects out in his shop in his spare time.
