Glenn Dowell

Harvey “Glenn” Dowell, age 66, left this life on December 23, 2020 in his mother’s home in McCaulley, Texas.  Graveside service will be Sunday, December 27, 2020 at 1:00 pm in McCaulley Cemetery. Directed by Adams-Foster-Ray Funeral Home.

He was born on September 27, 1954 to Harvey Don and Lorene (Smart) Dowell in Waco, Texas.

Following his high school graduation from McCaulley in 1972, Glenn joined the United States Army.  He was assigned to the 295th Aviation Co. (HH) Finthen AAF , Finthen, Germany. He was a general contractor, carpenter, and a jack of all trades.

Glenn’s father and brother-in-law, Delaine Hansen, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his mother, Lorene; one sister, Connie Hanson; one brother and sister-in-law, Tracey and Charlotte Dowell; two aunts and their husbands; eight nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; numerous cousins; and his best friend, James Griffin.
