Coye Pritchard

On Tuesday, February 23, 2021, Coye Pritchard, loving husband and devoted father to five children, passed away at the age of 83.

Coye married the love of his life, Glenda Pritchard, on September 29, 1957. They spent 63 years together making a beautiful family with so many unforgettable memories.

Coye owned Pritchard Trucking and shared that with his two boys. He loved to go fishing and see who could catch those big catfish! He always loved to be in the shop tinkering with things and always on the go. He had an infectious laugh, and you could bet there would be candy and tools in his pocket!

Coye is preceded in death by his parents Tom Franklin and Lillie Mae Pritchard, brothers, Leroy Pritchard, Jerry Pritchard, and Earl Pritchard.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda Pritchard, his five children and their spouses, Mike (Gwen) Pritchard, Pam (Ronald) Crouch, Randy (Jeanette) Pritchard, Deana (Terry) Bailey, and Tiffany (Ronnie) Bush, and many grandchildren and great- grandchildren and loving sister, Bertie Joye Helms.

A funeral service will be held at the Nazarene Church in Hamlin on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 2:00 in the afternoon. Burial will be in Hamlin Memorial Cemetery, directed by Adams-Foster-Ray Funeral Home.
