Claude "Mac" Mclain Jr.

Claude 'Mac' Henry McLain Jr. Was born March 1st, 1942, in Hulbert, Arkansas to Claude and Aileen McLain. Mac married the love of his life, Cynthia Hester, on February 7th, 1975. They lived 46 beautiful years together, welcoming two daughters, Aimee and Jerilynn. Mac was loved by everyone who knew him and will always be remembered for his incredible storytelling and practical jokes. He showed the world a shining example of what true love is in his adoration for his beloved wife.
He proudly served his country in Vietnam, and 24 years in the US Air Force. He continued to work many years for the Department of Defense after his military retirement.
He passed away August 28, 2021, in Abilene, TX surrounded by his loving wife and daughters.
He is preceded in death by his parents Claude McLain Sr. And Aileen Endicott. His memory will be kept alive by his 6 siblings, Joyce Adair, Johnny McLain, Marlane McLain, Janice Smith, James ’"Skipper" Endicott, Jeri Payne, his loving wife, Cynthia McLain, and two daughters, Aimee Ewald and Jerilynn McLain.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 2nd, 10 A.M. at Mccaulley Cemetery in McCaulley, TX.
