Charlie Frank Turner, 79, passed away April 30, 2019, in Noodle, Texas. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 3, 2019, in Hamlin Memorial Cemetery in Hamlin, Texas. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2019, at Adams-Foster-Ray Funeral Home Chapel.
Born September 14, 1939, in Hamlin, Charlie was the son of the late Thomas P. "Tip" and Dump (Gill) Turner. He married Martha Gage on October 31, 1959, in Hamlin and raised two beautiful children. Martha preceded him in death on October 4, 1994. Charlie was a lifetime farmer and rancher. In 2002 he met Jacquelene Gary and they spent seventeen years together. Charlie loved spending time with his grandchildren and watching them play sports. He enjoyed time off to go fishing and hunting.
Charlie is preceded in death by his one daughter (Sharla Wheat), one sister (Ella Mae Scifres), and one brother (Ben Turner).
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Guy and Jennifer Turner of Anson; Jacquelene Gary of Noodle; one sister, Grace Oliver of Abilene; four grandchildren, Chance Brown, Rob Hudman, Josh Hudman, and Jacie Hudman; two great-grandchildren, Austin Brown and Kasen Hudman; one sister-in-law, Cathy Warrick (Mervin); one brother-in-law, Blanton Gage; and numerous nieces and nephews.
