Carolyn Sue (George) Jeffrey passed away October 28, 2020, in Hamlin. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, October 31, 2020, at the McCaulley Methodist Church. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the McCaulley Methodist Church before the service. Burial will be in the McCaulley Cemetery, directed by Adams-Foster-Ray Funeral Home. Born August 12, 1943, in Fisher County, Carolyn was the daughter of late Marmon Duke and Bessie Jewel (Lee) George. She graduated from McCaulley High School.She is remembered by her family as (one hardworking, tough bird, but sweet & kindhearted ). Carolyn loved her family and never missed an opportunity to support her children at sporting events and stock shows. She enjoyed watching football and spending time with family and friends.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents Marmon Duke George and Bessie Jewel (Lee) George “Hicks” and brother Larry George.Survivors include Shiela & Tommy Maberry, James & Beverly Jeffrey, Darren & Linda Jeffrey and Ryan & Ashlee Jeffrey, 9 grandsons and 6 granddaughters and 20 great grandchildren.
