Bonnie LaRhe Vaughan passed away peacefully on September 20, 2020 under the loving care of the team at Hendricks Hospice Care. Bonnie was born on November 10, 1927 to Horace and Cleta Black.  She graduated from Hamlin High School in 1945.  Bonnie was married to Jack Vaughan until he passed on November 4, 2008.  She was a lifetime resident of Hamlin, Texas. There she was a member of the Hamlin Church of Christ and a lifetime member of the Eastern Star organization.  Bonnie enjoyed sewing, cooking and traveling.

She is survived by her daughters, Rhea Sue Parramore (Robert) and Leigh Anne Holden; grandchildren, Ret. Lt. Col. Russell Parramore (Kristen), Robyn Campbell (Scott),  Dr. Katherine Rinard (Cameron), Eric Holden (Whitney); great grandchildren Sam, Cade and Jase Parramore, Lauren and Olivia Rinard, and Colt Campbell.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Vaughan, brother, G.C. Black and son-in-law Jerry Holden.

A private family service will be held at the cemetery in Hamlin. The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers as we gather privately to honor Bonnie’s life.

Pallbearers include Robert Parramore, Russell Parramore, Eric Holden, Cameron Rinard, Scott Campbell and Gerome Black.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hendricks Hospice Care or Winters Public Library.
