Bobby was born to Neomia McGee and Billy Johnson early morning May 1, 1966 in Stamford (the day Bill moved to Tulsa mom always said). He grew up and was educated in the Hamlin ISD.  He played drums in the band, ran track 200, 4x4 and Mile Relay, played basketball and football and was good in all of it.  Bobby was 1985 HHS Best All Around Athlete, track honors, and served as 83-84 Class President.  He graduated in 1985 and went on to further his education at Ranger Jr College.  He left Ranger and followed mother to Big Spring, TX where he met and married Laura Renee Green. He worked at Limpham construction many years. Then he became truck driver even at one point owning his own business (ABC McGee Int.)  Bobby loved life, family, and friends.  He gave his life to Christ at an early age at the Oak Grove Baptist Church in Hamlin, TX.  He loved children and they loved him; kids were drawn to him like a magnet.  He had a funny since of humor -comedian.  His joy was to make others laugh. Bobby was a member of a motorcycle club, an avid fisherman and a Dallas Cowboy fan. He enjoyed watching/talking through movies and TV shows with multiple questions. He was a talker!  Bobby possessed a gift of giving- he would give you the shirt off his back and the last dime in his pocket.

He loved to sing “Brandi” at every family gathering. (never learned all the words after 20 years)

Bobby was proceeded in death by his parents Neomia and Billy, grandparents Armstead and Arthelia McGee, Laura and John L Gilbert, wife Renee McGee, aunts Pearl Hunter, Martha McGee, JoAnn Johnson, Betty Giles and Fay McGee, uncles Ray McGee and Thomas Fry and brother Coy McGee and Cousin Sharon Hunter.

He leaves to cherish his memories His son Keith O’Brian McGee of Melissa, TX, daughters LeAndra Cross (Kamaluddin) and LaKenya Bills of Arlington, TX; grandsons: Kavon and Khmani Cross and Everett Bills III; his companion Mary Minor, his sister Renea Ervine (James) of Abilene, Brothers Billy of Monahan, Tx and Waylon of Hamlin, TX, John Norman of Abilene, Bryan Thompson and Garey Johnson of Tulsa,  TX; aunts: Gloria Cork (James) of Midland and Kathy McGee of Big Spring; uncle Willie Hunter of Hamlin, TX nieces Willie Yager(Tasha) Abilene, Tx Donnetta Scott of Albany GA,  Bridgette McGee of Abilene, TX, Tiffany Yates (Mark) of Abilene, nephews: Julius Ervine (Jessica) of Abilene, TX,  Michael McGee and Coy McGee of Abilene, TX,  and mother in law Mrs. Anna Green of Mesquite, TX  a host of cousins and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the Hamlin High School Auditorium.  A family visitation will be from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, May 21, 2021 at the Adams-Foster-Ray Funeral Home.
