William Francis White III

William F. White, III,Devoted Husband, “Sweet Daddy”, “Papaw” known as Bill” & “Bro. White” entered fully into the presence of Jesus on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 6:02 PM.

Bill was born September 2, 1935 in Deerfield, Massachusetts.  He was an only child and adored by his parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force right out of high school. While stationed in Texas he met a West Texas Beauty Cleota DeGwen. They were married on December 11, 1964 and built a beautiful life and family for 53 years, which is anchored in their love for the Lord and each other.

Bill served his country in the U.S. Air Force for 22 years. After retiring from the service he worked as a mechanic for John Deere, Chevrolet, Ford, and Saint-Gobain. If it had a motor he could fix it.  After losing his best friend and wife in 2017, he kept busy working along side his daughter DeAnna Door Dashing. He enjoyed riding his bicycle and caring for his beautiful cats Oliver and Chloe as well  as every neighborhood cat that needed his love and attention. 

Bill was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents and loving wife Cleota.  He is survived by his children Patricia McCartney, Daniel White, Robert Michael White, DeAnna Keith, Chablie Davis, Shannon White and grandson Brenden Ford.
