Viola Jones

HAMLIN- VIOLA INEZ (EMBREY) JONES, 95, passed away Friday, February 6, 2015, in Hamlin. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 8, 2015, at the Adams-Foster-Ray Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following at the Neinda Cemetery.
Born January 6, 1920, in Jones County, Texas, Viola was the daughter of James T. and Rosie (Dutton) Embrey. She married Willie Alls in 1953, and after his passing, married Ernest Jones in 1975. Viola worked at Winn's Variety Store in Hamlin for several years. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafts and crossword puzzles. She was an active member of the First Assembly of God Church in Hamlin. Above all, Viola loved spending time with and taking care of her nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by two husbands, Willie Alls and Ernest Jones; her parents, James and Rose Embrey; three brothers, and three sisters.
Viola is survived by her sister-in-law, Jackie Embrey; and by numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
