Tommy Norwood

Tommy was a son of the late Samuel and Lillie Kirkpatrick Norwood. He graduated from Plainview College and was a veteran of the United States Army serving from 1960 to 1963.
Tommy married Sherry Renfro on July 1, 1963, in Midland where they lived for many years before moving
to Hamlin in 1977. He was a CVA at Hamlin Middle School where he taught woodshop . Tommy was an avid baseball fan who loved woodworking and watching John Wayne movies. He was a member of the Neinda Baptist Church.

Tommy is preceded in death by his parents and
two sisters Jane Inskeep and Jaqueline Reed.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry Norwwod of Hamlin
one son, Richard Norwood of Hamlin one daughter,
Tommie Streger of Odessa two brothers and sistersinlaw, Dwayne and Mayre Lee Norwwod and Donnie and Lynn Norwood one sister, Judy Williams two grandchildren,
Gregory Streger and Savannah Streger one greatgrandchild, Ahmyah Fluharty and numerous nieces, nephews,
aunts, uncles, and cousins.
