Obituary

Steven Kirk Williams was born to the union of Minnie Brown & Sammie Williams on January 12, 1958. He was raised in Hamlin, TX and later relocated to Big Spring, TX.

In his younger years, Steve, better known as ‘Z Z Gap' for his wonderful and charismatic smile, was a great athlete of several sports. After high school, he became an oilfield man of several positions and subsequently became an oil refinery Operations Manager and Union Officer/Stewart at his beloved dream job in Big Spring. He later retired and moved to Cross Plains, TX where he maintained his farm & diligently tended to his goats. He loved to go fishing.

He was a dedicated father, husband, son, & brother. He was a great friend to anyone that crossed paths with him. He loved his family unconditionally and was a man of strong convictions. He loved God and his faith was paramount.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 30 plus years, Angelita Quintana-Williams and his father, Sammie Lee Williams.

He leaves to cherish his memory his Mother, Minnie Robinson of Hamlin, siblings, Kenneth Williams (Cynthia) of Hamlin, Deborah Orange of Arlington, Marvin Williams of Arlington, Kelvin Williams of Arlington, Rita Williams-Woodard (Essie) of Arlington, Children Chanek Hilbrands of Tucson, Az., Michael Webb of Texas, Michelle Cooper (Winston II)of Arlington, Randy Quintana of Munday, Romero 'Nuno' Villarreal of Midland, Stephanie Williams of Big Spring, Grandchildren Lauren Hildbrands of Greely, Co., Arianna Villarreal of Big Spring, Kaleb Quintana of Munday, Winston Cooper III of Arlington, Samhad Williams of Big Spring, & King Webb of Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends who will miss him dearly.
