Stanley Jones

On December 17, 1957, in Stamford, Texas, Stanley Earl “Head” Jones was born a son of four children to the late Milton Jones, Sr. and Katherine Jones.

Stanley was educated in Hamlin High School and later went to work at Pied Piper Mills. He had various jobs including Pool Well Services, Sweetwater Ready Mix, Express and Double Mountain Coach Transport.

Stanley married Laura Lee Jones and to this marriage was born two children, John Ross “J.R.” Jones and Jerome “J.J.” Jones.

Stanley passes away on January 16, 2022, at the age of sixty-four. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Glenda Lewis Caraway, one son Jerome “J.J.” Jones, nephew Anthony Johnny Jones and sister-in-law Judy Jones.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, John Ross “J.R.” Jones, granddaughter Averi Lashay Jones, siblings, Milton Jones Jr. and Johnny Jones, numerous nieces, nephew, and a host of extended family and friends.
