Roy Roscoe Server was born June 18, 1937 in Knox City, Texas to Leland and Beulah (Jenkins) Server. He graduated from Hamlin High School in 1956. Roy married the love of his life, Clarice Brown, on August 25, 1956 in Hamlin, Texas. He was a member of the Hamlin Masonic Lodge #958 A.F. & A.M. for over 53 years. He was active in 4H as a child, and once married and settled, he and Clarice started C&R Cattle Co. where they were involved with 4H in Jones County for over 35 years. He would help youth within the county traveling many miles transporting cattle to stock shows. Roy was an avid domino player all his life and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and skeet shooting.
Roy was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend. He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leland and Beulah Server; his grandparents; and his son-in-law Mark Woodell.
