Richard Martin

Hamlin- Richard Dale "Bill" Martin, 74, passed away December 17, 2016.
Born August 4, 1942, in Matador, Bill was the son of the late Richard and Julie (Boner) Martin. He married the love of his life Rose Ann Underwood September 4, 1959, in Matador. Bill was a true cowboy, he worked though out his life as a ranch hand, working for the Four-Six Ranch, Matador Ranch and Seller Cattle Company. Bill was a family man and enjoyed watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren play sports. He enjoyed roping, BBQ, and going camping in Red River with his grandchildren.
Bill is preceded in death by one sister (May Thomas), one niece (Julie Thomas) and one nephew (Michael Martin).
Survivor include his wife, Rose Martin; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ricky and Amanda Martin, and Billy Joe and Laci Martin; three daughters, Julie and Doug Proctor, Paula and Billy Ray Allen, and Billie and Sherman Bates; three brothers Joe Martin, Alvin Martin and Shorty Martin; one sister, Frances Taylor; thirteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one special grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
