Orville Houghton

Orville Lee Houghton was born August 3, 1948 to C.M. Houghton and Ruth (Whitley) Houghton in Stamford, TX. Orville was a veteran of the US Army and bravely fought in Viet Nam as a helicopter gunner. He married Deborah Stephens July 4, 1978 in Oklahoma. Orville was retired; he worked most of his life as a truck driver. Orville loved cars, the older the better. He loved working on them and restoring them. His current project was restoring a 1940 Plymouth. Orville also loved being outdoors and really enjoyed fishing and camping. Orville was a loving husband, father, brother, son, grandfather, and friend. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew him and loved him.
Orville is preceded in death by his parents and one son, Randall Houghton.
Orville is survived by his loving wife, Debbie Houghton; his children Brian Houghton and Lora Burns; grandchildren Phoenix Houghton, Ryle Houghton, Addison Houghton, Marshall Burns, and Thomas Houghton; a son, Tim Houghton; a daughter, Tiffany Houghton; his sister, Yvonne Estes and husband David; and nephews Chris Estes and Steven Estes.
