Neal Tankersley

Gary Neal Tankersley, 66, of Hamlin, Texas gained his angel wings on Tuesday, August 17, 2021.

A graveside service will be held in Neal’s honor at 4:00 PM on Friday, August 20, 2021, in Sylvester Cemetery, Fisher County.

Neal was born in Fort Worth, Texas to John H. Tankersley and Dorothy Lee (Beard) Tankersley on October 9, 1954.  He attended Eastern Hills High School and was a member of Sagamore Hill Baptist Church.  He moved to Hamlin, Texas in June 2010.  Neal was a gentle soul and loved get-togethers and dinner parties with friends. He also enjoyed watching TV and movies; but Neal especially loved playing his video games, whether it was X-Box or PlayStation.  Neal will truly be missed.

Neal is preceded in death by his parents, John and Dorothy Tankersley.

Pallbearers are as follows:  Todd Stevenson, Colby Stevenson, Jacob Cox, Branson Ponder, Mark Tomlinson, and Drew Tomlinson.

Honorary Pallbearers are as follows: Don Doty and Don Pyron.
