Martha Loveta Bruner, 95, passed away September 21, 2023 in Abilene, Texas. Services will be 11:00 AM on Monday, September 25, 2023 at the Adams Foster Ray Funeral Home Chapel in Hamlin followed by burial in the Hamlin Memorial Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation prior to the service beginning at 10:00 AM.
Loveta was born on May 9, 1928, in Hamlin, Texas to the late Daniel L. and Dena T. (Parker) Branscum. She graduated from high school and embarked on a career as a teacher’s aide, where she found immense joy in helping students reach their full potential. Her commitment to the well-being and success of those she served was truly inspiring.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Loveta had a rich personal life filled with love and cherished relationships. She was united in marriage to her beloved husband LB Bruner until his passing. Together they built a beautiful family that brought them endless happiness.
Apart from her role as a devoted wife and mother, Loveta had an array of hobbies and interests that brought her great joy. She loved spending time with her family above all else; their bond was unbreakable. Loveta’s passion for cooking allowed her to create memorable meals and beautiful desserts that always brought loved ones together. Her skillful hands also found solace in sewing and painting.
She is survived by her son, Dan Allen Bruner and his wife Cynthia; daughters, Sharon Burleson and her husband Jack, and Michelle Bruner; six grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
