Marie Dietrich

MARIE DIETRICH, 90, passed away Friday, August 3, 2012 at a Hamlin nursing home. Services were 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 6, 2012 at AdamsFosterRay Funeral Home with burial in Neinda Cemetery.

Marie was born August 10, 1921 to Elijah Wren and Eugenia Taylor Cross at Post, Texas. She married Bob E. Dietrich at Denver City on August 10, 1940. They lived in Brownfield until Bob retired in 1979 and then moved to Hamlin. Marie was very devoted to the First Baptist Church and she loved to cook. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother Irvin Cross and one sister Sis Hunt.

Marie is survived by three sons and two daughtersinlaw, Harry and Janice Dietrich of Hamlin, Larry Dietrich of Hamlin, and Gary and Shirley Dietrich of Alvarado five grandchildren, Dawn Barber, Cissy Toups, Missy Thomson, Alicia Dietrich and Dustin Dietrich five greatgrandchildren two sisters and a brotherinlaw, Rosie and Art Smith and Jean Tipton sisterinlaw, Billie Jean Cross and numerous nieces and nephews.
