Manual Armenta

Hamlin-Manual Armenta, 74, passed away Monday, January 25, 2016, in Hamlin. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 28, 2016, at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Burial will be in Hamlin Memorial Cemetery, directed by Adams-Foster-Ray Funeral Home. Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at the funeral home chapel.
Born December 20, 1941, in Neinda, Manual was a son of the late Jesse and Nicanora (Rivera) Armenta. Manual was a lifelong resident of Hamlin and worked as a bricklayer. He enjoyed spending time with friends, and singing.
Manual is preceded in death by his parents, one son (Jesse Armenta), one sister (Lupe Gutierrez), two brothers-in-law (Benny Gutierrez and E.J. Holden).
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Senaieda Armenta of Abilene; one sister, Mary Holden of Hamlin; three grandchildren, Jonathan, Damion, and Marcos; nieces, LaFonda Ramirez, Nora Estrada, and Rosemary Flores; one nephew, Benny Gutierrez, Jr.
