Luis Antonio Ibarra Sr.

Luis Antonio Ibarra Sr. aka “Lulu” was born on July 18, 1988, in Hamlin, Texas. He spent his early years growing up in Hamlin. where he graduated from Hamlin High School in the class of 2006. Luis would go on in life and have 6 children, three boys and three girls, Lilly, Santos, Luis Jr., Greenlee, Zamiralee and Leelahn.

Luis had a bright and cheerful personality, always smiling and bringing joy to those around him. He was known for ensuring that there was never a dull moment during family gatherings, whether it was visiting at Mom’s house, wrestling with the nephews or watching his family play sports , proudly cheering at the ballgames. He was the life of the party. He truly loved his kids and treasured the time he spent with family.

Luis was also an avid sports fan. He had a deep passion for the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers, cheering them on with enthusiasm.

Sadly, Luis gained his wings on August 18, 2025. He is survived by his loving mother, Isabell Ibarra, his three daughters Lilly, Zamiralee and Greenlee ; three sons, Santos, Luis Jr. and Leelahn; Brothers, Sabas and Carol Moreno, Bobby Moreno, Pablo and Kristina Ibarra Jr., John Ibarra, Frederico Ibarra and Amber Lozano, Cruz and Erica Ibarra. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews who will hold onto the many memories they created together. His vibrant spirit and love for family will be missed by all who knew him.

Luis is preceded in spirit by his father Paulo H. Ibarra, grandparents, aunts and uncles.
