Lorene Riddle

d. December 6, 2015

Lorene Riddle passed away to join her Lord and loved ones in Heaven on December 6, 2015.
She was born in 1929 in Hamlin, Texas, to William and Opal Tabb.
After being named Willie Lorene Riddle by her parents, she tried her best to be "Lorene" or Rene". The bad thing is she never changed her social security card and to her dismay, the doctor's offices, etc., were always coming looking for Mr. Willie. She retired from Regions Bank but started banking with Citizens Bank until they imploded the building, later becoming First City Bank and then Regions.
She was one of four children, two brothers, Gerald and Gene Tabb and one sister, Barbara Brown. She married J. W. Riddle in January of 1947, and had two daughters, Pamela Davis of Tyler and Paula Forbes of Tyler; and two grandchildren, Carmen Doverspike of Beaumont, Texas, and David Grantham of Biloxi, Mississippi.
Lorene was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Opal Tabb; her husband J. W. Riddle; and her brother Gerald Tabb.
Lorene will return to those cotton fields in West Texas, where her parents were farmers, and will be buried in Hamlin Cemetery, alongside many family members.
Visitation is scheduled from 10:00 - 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Adams-Foster-Ray Funeral Home in Hamlin, Texas.
