Kenneth Clemmer was born to Thomas Wesley Clemmer and Mary Lois Clemmer on January 2. 1943 in Cisco, TX. He grew up in the Moran, TX area until his family moved to Sweetwater, TX. Kenneth graduated from Sweetwater High School in 1961 with a full football scholarship to Howard Payne University. It was well known that he enjoyed most types of sports including golf where he made 2 hole in ones during his years of playing. Kenneth lived and worked in the Sweetwater area until 1978 when the Lord saved him and he moved to Hamlin, TX. After moving to Hamlin, he ran heavy equipment until 1986, when he started working for the city of Hamlin driving a refuse truck. Kenneth continued driving refuse trucks until retiring from Republic Services in 2010 with 24 years of service. Kenneth loved living for the Lord, his family and friends, and doing anything outdoors. In earlier years, Kenneth loved to cook out and you would probably find him out in the yard playing games with his children, nephews, and nieces. In latter years, Kenneth was more interested in church and being with his family and friends. He will always be remembered for his big smile, fun loving personality and pranks.
Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Betsy Segovia and husband Juan, daughter, Angie Clemmer, son Ronnie Clemmer and wife Becky, grandchildren Juanita Segovia, Jared Clemmer, and Jamison Clemmer all of Hamlin.
