June Sivits, born on February 7, 1947, in Rotan, Texas, passed away peacefully at her home in Hamlin, Texas, on January 19, 2026. She was a devoted nurse, earning her nursing degree and dedicating her career to caring for others. June's nurturing spirit was reflected in her love for the Lord, a guiding light that shaped her life and the lives of those around her.
In addition to her career in nursing, June enjoyed a variety of hobbies, finding joy in traveling to different states, fishing, gardening, and outdoors. Her zest for life and adventure was evident in everything she did.
June is survived by her sons, Clyde Chandler and Kyle Chandler, who cherish her memory along with her two grandchildren, Clyde Wesley Jordan Chandler and Shelbie Chandler. She is also remembered by her brother, Billy Bond, who carries the memories of their shared experiences and the tight-knit bond they formed throughout their lives.
June was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Joyce (May) Bond, and her siblings, Sammy Bond and Joy Andress. She also mourned the loss of her husbands, Clyde Chandler and Don Sivits, both of whom held a special place in her heart.
A funeral service to honor June's remarkable life will be held on January 22, 2026, at Adams-Foster-Ray Funeral Home in Hamlin, Texas. The service will begin at 2:00 PM providing an opportunity for family and friends to come together in remembrance of a woman whose love and kindness touched many lives.
