Josefa Villarreal

Born August 21, 1936, in Sinton, Josefa was the daughter of the late Evaristo F. and Maria Medrano Ybarra. She married Rito Villarreal August 30, 1952, in Belton. They moved to Hamlin in 1961 from Edinburg. Josefa loved to cook, sew and was known as Mamma to many people. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mission Bautista Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, two sons, one daughter and one sister.
Survivors include three daughters, Rosa Martinez Horacio, Rebeca Villarreal, and Raquel Villarreal Thomas Martinez four sons, Reyes Villarreal, Rito Villarreal, Jr., Ruben Villarreal, and Remijio Villarreal four brothers, Robert Ybarra, Alfredo Ybarra, Lazaro Ybarra and Manuel Ybarra one sisters, Ramona Rios thirtyeight grandchildren and numerous greatgrandchildren and many others who lives she touched.
