Born January 19, 1927, in San Ygnacio, Texas, Josefa was a daughter of the late Jose and San Juana Trevino Navarro. She married Guadalupe Villanueva January 7, 1952 and moved to Hamlin in 1963.
Josefas family was everything to her and she loved spending time with them.

Josefa is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include her husband, Guadalupe Villanueva one son and daughterinlaw, Ricardo Rick and Lucia Villanueva of Hamlin one daughter and soninlaw, Maria and Samuel Rodriguez of Abilene eleven grandchildren twentyone greatgrandchildren one greatgreatgrandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
