Joe Hall

Joe C. Hall, 91, passed away September 1, 2018, in Plano, Texas. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 6, 2018, at Adams-Foster-Ray Funeral Home in Hamlin. Burial will follow at Hamlin Memorial Cemetery.
Born April 6, 1927, in Hamlin, Joe was the son of the late A.C. and Ruby (Bristow) Hall. He married Elva Jean Newland Elliott on October 14, 1960.
Joe served 2 years in WW II in the US Army, serving in Germany. He also served 2 years during the Korean War in the US Air Force, serving in Japan.
Joe was a Baptist. He enjoyed life and was proud of his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents; five brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include two sons, Tommy and Joel Hall; one step-son, Doug Elliott; one step-daughter, Jerry L. Wilson; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
