Jimmy Kelly

Jimmy Richard Kelly, 79, of Sweetwater, formerly of Hamlin, went to his heavenly home on Monday, April 23, 2018. Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 26, 2018, at the Sylvester Cemetery with Pastor Marci Grun officiating. Services are under the direction of Adams-Foster-Ray Funeral Home.
Born March 10, 2018, Jimmy was the son of the late Richard Randolph and Evelyn Lorene (Cook) Kelly. He grew up in and around the Sylvester community where he attended school and graduated from McCaulley High School in 1957. Jimmy worked as a farm hand, oil field laborer, and truck driver most of his life. Jimmy enjoyed spending time with his children and more importantly his grandchildren.
Jimmy is survived by two daughters, Debra Kelly of Maryneal Tx. and Tonya Valentine of Fort Worth Tx, three sons, Richard Kelly and wife, Angela of Winters Tx, Kerry Kelly and wife, Lacey of Sweetwater Tx, and Mike Burnett and wife, Loree of Greenwood Tx,; thirteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by one brother, Randy Kelly and wife, Peggy of Sylvester; two sisters, Lajuan Kelly of Sweetwater Tx, and Renia Fulton and husband, David of Slaton Tx.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Lorene Kelly, two sisters, Beth Clem and Sharon McDowell, one brother, Don Kelly, one son, Chris Adams, and one grandchild, Randall Kelly.
