Jerry Jeffrey

McCAULLEY JERRY GLEN JEFFREY, 71, passed away Monday, February 4, 2013 at his residence. Graveside services were 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at McCaulley Cemetery under the ion of AdamsFosterRay Funeral Home. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Jerry was born June 19, 1941 to James Trueitt and Lydia Jewell Gibson Jeffrey at Merkel, Texas. He graduated from McCaulley High School in 1959 and was a lifelong resident of McCaulley and Lawlis Flat. Jerry was a rancher and farmer and had a great passion for raising show calves and fishing. He was a member of the Bethel Assembly Church in Anson. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, one brother Billy Wayne Jeffrey, one sister Charlotte Jeffrey and three nephews Michael Britt Jeffrey, Todd Wayne Jeffrey and John Todd Matthis.

Jerry is survived by three sons and daughtersinlaw, James and Beverly Jeffrey of McCaulley, Darren and Linda Jeffrey of Harper, Texas, and Ryan and Amber of Sweetwater a daughter and soninlaw, Shiela and Tommy Maberry of Hamlin fourteen grandchildren and their spouses, Randell and Becca Maberry, Brandon and Lacy Arnold, Tye and Jessica Jeffrey, Paige Jeffrey, Lester and Kelli Maberry, Trista Jeffrey, Jake Jeffrey, Alex Jeffrey, Zach Maberry, D.J. Jeffrey, Katy Jeffrey, Kaegan Jeffrey, Rhett Jeffrey, and Zoee Jeffrey two brothers and sistersinlaw, Johnny and Babs Jeffrey of Hamlin and Jackie and Barbara Jeffrey of McCaulley and numerous nieces, nephews, greatnieces, greatnephews and cousins.
