Hamlin-Jack Bessire, 78, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016, in Hamlin. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 15, 2016, at Adams-Foster-Ray Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Hamlin Memorial Cemetery, directed by Adams-Foster-Ray Funeral Home.
Born December 15, 1937, Jack was the son of the late James C. and Amanda (Holden) Bessire. He married the love of his love Donna Kidd on May 30, 1958, in Abilene. Jack retired from Sun Oil Company. He spent most of his spare time restoring old antique cars. Jack was a member of the Methodist Church and a Mason.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and one brother-in-law.
Jack is survived by his wife, Donna Bessire; and one son, Gregg Bessire.
