Homer Shelton

James was the son of J.D. And Elizabeth Helms Shelton. A lifelong resident of Hamlin, he worked for many years at the quarry in Lueders. In his spare time, James enjoyed hunting, fishing, and growing flowers. He was a member of the Hamlin Masonic lodge.
James is preceded in death by his father, two brothers, and three sisters.
He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Helms of Hamlin his son, Michael Turner of Hamlin and his sister, Tammie Griffith of Hamlin.
