HAMLIN HERBERT DALE CROUCH, 81, went to be with our Lord Thursday May 23, 2013, at Hamlin. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2013 at the Central Baptist Church with burial at Hamlin Memorial Cemetery. ation will be 5:00 6:00 p.m. Saturday at AdamsFosterRay Funeral Home.

Herbert was born April 28, 1932 to Archie and Gladys Lavell Azbell Crouch in Ben Franklin, Texas. Archie passed away when Herbert was two years old and his mother married Sid Clay, who became Herberts Dad. Herbert served our country in the Army during the Korean War as a communications officer. He married Mildred Hale in Hamlin on August 8, 1953 and were happily married for almost sixty years. Herbert worked for the city of Hamlin for thirtyone years until retiring in 1988. He then began purchasing rental properties. Herbert was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Central Baptist Church. He enjoyed listening to country and gospel music. Herbert is preceded in death by his parents Sid and Gladys Clay, one brother Cyril Crouch, one sister Irene Woolf, one stepbrother and three stepsisters.

Herbert is survived by his wife, Mildred Crouch of Hamlin three sons and daughtersinlaw, Randy and Laurie Crouch of Houston, Ronald and Pam Crouch of Midland, and Rodney and Carla Crouch of Midland a daughter, Judy Bigbie Darron Ancinec ten grandchildren and twelve greatgrandchildren.
