Guadalupe Villanueva, 91, of Hamlin passed away November 8, 2022.
He was born May 13, 1931 in Mercedes, Texas to the late Crisanto and Anita (Hinojosa) Villanueva. Guadalupe was a farmer for many years. He was a family man and loved spending time barbequing and being with his loved ones. He was a kind man and will be missed by so many.
Guadalupe was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Josefa Villanueva; son Ricky Villanueva; grandson, Ricky Lee Villanueva; and brother Alfredo Gonzalez.
He is survived by his daughter, Maria Rodriguez, and husband Samuel; grandchildren, Sammy Rodriguez, and wife Nikki, Isaac Turner, and wife Sandra, Simon Rodriguez, Jessica Villanueva, and Jason Villanueva, and wife Kara; several great grandchildren and step grandchildren; sisters, Rebecca Chavez, Esmeralda Rivera, and husband Raul; brother Eddie Rivera; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
