Gloria Mendoza

HAMLIN GLORIA RANGEL MENDOZA, 61, passed away Monday October 22, 2012, at an Abilene hospital. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, October 25, 2012, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with burial at El Ranchito Cemetery under the ion of AdamsFosterRay Funeral Home. Gloria was born March 25, 1951 to Tecla Flores and Victoriano Victor Rangel at Hamlin. She married Jesse Mendoza, Jr. on February 24, 1968, at Rotan. She worked at Holiday Lodge Care Home for fifteen years and then became a personal caregiver. Gloria was a lifelong resident of Hamlin and enjoyed sewing and reading. She was extremely proud of her entire family and she especially loved and adored her grandchildren. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Gloria is preceded in death by her brotherinlaw Ricardo Mendoza, motherinlaw and fatherinlaw Jesus and Antonia Mendoza.

Gloria is survived by her husband, Jesse Mendoza, Jr. of Hamlin her parents, Tecla and Victor Rangel of Hamlin a son and daughterinlaw, Jesse and Anna Mendoza, III of Anson two daughters, Zenaida Sandy Mendoza and Abbygail Mendoza, both of Hamlin two grandchildren, Miranda Renee and Jesse Aaron Mendoza one brother, Tomas Rangel four sisters and brothersinlaw, Mary and Raymond Ramirez, Isabel and David Del Hierro, Angel and Wesley Heaton and Carmen and Roy Gardner step motherinlaw, Gloria Mendoza and four brothersinlaw and four sistersinlaw on Jesses side of the family, Rudy and Becky Mendoza, Alex and Janna Mendoza, Delia Mendoza, Micheal and Kandy Mendoza, and Mark Mendoza and numerous nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.
