Gilberto Guerra Sr.

Gilberto P. Guerra Sr., 91 of Hamlin, passed away April 21, 2023. Graveside services will be at 11:00 am Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at the Hamlin Memorial Cemetery in Hamlin. Services are under the direction of Adams-Foster-Ray Funeral Home.

Gilberto was born in Combes, Texas on April 17, 1932, to the late Santos and Diamantina Guerra. He married the love of his life, Juliana Gonzalez, on December 27, 1958, and raised a beautiful family together. Gilberto worked as a farmer. He enjoyed hunting and tending to his cattle. He will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.

Gilberto was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Juliana Guerra; two sisters; and four brothers.

He is survived by three sons, Gilbert Jr., (Terry), Javier (Jana), Mac (Gabrielle) and one daughter Evangelina (Patrick) and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
