Gerald Weaver

Born March 19, 1934, in Royston, Gerald was the son of the late Richard M. and Mary Bates Weaver. He married the love of his life Gladys May Jones on June 1, 1956, in Aspermont. Gerald worked for M&C Lumber for over 30 years before retiring. He enjoyed playing guitars, and going fishing. Gerald was a faithful member of the First Assembly of God.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Gladys; brothers, James Franklin Weaver, Robert Donald Weaver, Samuel Milton Weaver, Nolan Weaver, Freddy Doyle Weaver, and Danny Edward Weaver.

Survivors include his daughter Joy Weaver; two brothers, Billy Gene Weaver, and Robert Clayton Weaver; two sisters, Katherine Dunham and Jo Rae; two grandchildren, Amber Mendoza and Andy Mendoza; and two great-grandchildren, Eli Meadors and Julian Meadors.
