David Sanders

HAMLIN DAVID HART SANDERS, 83, passed away Sunday March 17, 2013, in Hamlin. Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013, in Hamlin Memorial Cemetery. ation will be 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at AdamsFosterRay Funeral Home.

Born December 12, 1929, in Carter County, Oklahoma, David was the son of the late Charles E. and Mable Routen Sanders. He married Winona Deel in 1945. David was an inventor whom developed and patented the hydraulic grease gun, water spider, and heavy hydrogen battery. He enjoyed playing cards and whittling wood pipes. David was a Mason and a member of the Woodmen of the World and the Church of Christ.

He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, one daughter Davye Sue Sanders, and one sister Lois Monroe.

Survivors include one daughter and soninlaw, Elaine and Charles Jenkins of Hamlin three brothers, Marvin Sanders, Kenneth Sanders, and Hollis Sanders one Sisterinlaw, Joan Kennedy one brotherinlaw, Billy Deel four grandchildren Jerry J.J Ash, Jennifer Cooper, Misty Raines, and Charlie D. Jenkins and seven greatgrandchildren.
