Dario Flores

Hamlin Dario T. Flores, 87, passed away Friday October 14, 2011, in Abilene. Funeral Mass will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2011, at Saint Ann39s Catholic Church in Stamford. Burial will be in Hamlin Memorial Cemetery, ed by AdamsFosterRay Funeral Home in Hamlin. Rosary will be 6:00 p.m. Sunday, October 16, 2011, at the funeral home chapel.

Born December 19, 1923, in Fisher County, Dario was a son of the late Juan and Micquela Terrazas Flores. He married Bidala Lujan July 15, 1950, in Abilene. Dario was a life long resident of Hamlin and worked as a farmer and rancher. He enjoyed fishing, going to garage sales and working as a vendor at flea markets. Dario was a member of Saint Ann39s Catholic Church in Stamford.

Dario is preceded in death by his wife, two brothers, and six sisters.

Survivors include two daughters and sonsinlaw, Anita and Edward Carrillo of Abilene, and Sue F. and Eliseo Martinez of Abilene five grandchildren, Amanda Torres and husband, Greg, Edward A. Carrillo Nora Pinon, Marcus Dario Carrillo Dolores Jacques, Emily Flores, and John Patrick Arredondo eleven greatgrandchildren, Roman Torres, Yuri Torres, Sixto Torres, Edward Anthony Carrillo, Jr., Mellissa Carrillo, Kelsey Carrillo, Marcus Dario Carrillo, Jr., Gessika Skye Carrillo, Ariel Aguirre, Adrian Aguirre, and Robert Aguirre, Jr. and two greatgreatgranddaughters, April Mercedes Torres and Daniela Marie Nicole Santos.
