Billy Seymour

Born April 22, 1940, in New Madrid, Missouri, Billy was the son of Chester M. and Lecy (Baldy) Seymour. He served in the United States Navy for six years. On October 17, 1959, he married the love of his life, Wanda Sue Nelson, at Hernando, Mississippi. Billy worked for many years as a truck driver. In his spare time, he enjoyed working as a jack of all trades, singing and writing music, and playing the guitar. He was a great "Poppy" to his family and enjoyed being with them. Billy was a member of the Hamlin Assembly of God.
He is preceded in death by his parents and nine siblings.
Billy is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, Wanda Seymour of Hamlin; two sons, Timothy Seymour (Mindy) and Billy C. Seymour (Kerry); two daughters, Kimberly Leon Guerrero (Ray) and Lisa E. Wainscott (Jimmy); one sister, Kay Francis Johnson (Don); fourteen grandchildren, David (Brandi), Randi Beth, Amanda, Jeffrey, Chancey, Jessica, Kristopher (Nichole), Kevin, Kendall (Rhonda), Mandy, Cacee Jo (Austin), Mason, Caymon, and Kalye; eighteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; his dog, Maggie; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
