Alvin Franklin Connor passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2018. Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 12, 2018 in the Adams-Foster-Ray Funeral Home Chapel in Hamlin.
Alvin was always available to help anyone in need. He had a long and prosperous life. He raised six children. Alvin had been in the Valley View Care Center for the past seven years. The caregivers there provided the best care for him we could have ask for. The family would like to send a big thank you to the entire staff.
He was a family man. His family came first and foremost. He wrote a song, "Do You Really Want Me". He loved all shapes and sizes of animals.
Alvin was proceeded in death by his mother and father, six brothers, three sisters, three grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
Alvin is survived by his children; Linda Fay Hill, Frankie Lee Stewart, Connie Conner, Martha Hutton, Alvin Ray Conner and Ruby Jo Traughber. Grandchildren: Paul and Laurie Stewart, Linda Lou Holden, Helen Rose Hill, Grant Hill, Sophia Graves, Catrina Grant, Johnnie Allen Traughber III, Laura Sue Teears, Scotty Love, Teresa Garcia and Josh Traughber. Thirty-three great grandchildren; eleven great great grandchildren; and one sister Hazel McMahan.
