Alberto Montanez

Albert Montanez Espinoza passed away November 16, 2022 in Abilene, Texas. Services will be 2:00 pm on Friday, November 25, 2022 at the Adams-Foster-Ray Funeral Home Chapel in Hamlin, Texas with burial to follow in Hamlin Memorial Cemetery.  A Rosary will be held at 10:00 am Friday, November 25, 2022 at the Funeral Home followed by a time of visitation.

Albert Montanez Espinoza was born April 8, 1964 in Aguascalientes, Mexico to Aurorra and Dionisio Montanez Espinoza. He was a fun, loving, kindhearted man, who enjoyed fishing and his job working at Radium gin. He worked hard and played harder, he never met a stranger, loved his family dearly, and enjoyed making people laugh.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, Aurorra and Dionisio Montanez Espinoza; daughter, Aurorra Montanez; son, Dionisio (Nicho) Montanez; brother, Bernabe Montanez Espinoza; and nephew, Bernabe Montanez Espinoza Jr.

He is survived by his loving wife Wendy Montanez; children, Albert Montanez Jr., Robert Montanez (Caitlyn), Shawn Montanez (Mary Hope), Dennis Montanez, and Kaitlyn Montanez; siblings, Dolores Montanez Espinoza, Refugio Montanez Espinoza (Sylvia), Maria de Refugio Gonzalez (Pancho), and Manuel Montanez Espinoza (Irasema); grandchildren, Allie Montanez, Albert Montanez III, Isabella Montanez, Arayah Montanez, and Alexander Montanez; mother-in-law, Faye Koonce; brother-in-law, Donnie Koonce; sister-in-law, Olena Andrus (Michael) and Laurie Koonce; and several nieces and nephews.

He is loved by many and will be missed by many more.
