Albert Davis

HAMLIN ALBERT EARL DAVIS, 68, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2012, at his residence in Neinda. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Central Baptist Church with burial at Neinda Cemetery. His family will have visitation 6:00 7:00 p.m. Friday at AdamsFosterRay Funeral Home.

Albert was born January 31, 1944 to D.J. and Elsie Conner Davis at Stamford. He served our country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Albert married Connie McNiel at Brownfield on April 1, 1969 and they resided there until moving to Hamlin in 1977. Albert was the VFW Post Commander for many years and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a Christian. Albert was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Frances Holden and two brothers James and Richard Davis.

Albert is survived by his wife, Connie Davis of Neinda four sons and three daughtersinlaw, Tony and Billie Davis of Henderson, Texas, Evert and Lana Davis, David and Dedra Davis, and Kenneth Davis, all of Hamlin one daughter and soninlaw, Samantha and Trace Fomby of Buffalo Gap eleven grandchildren, Colton Davis, Tasha Davis, Amber Davis, Tabitha Jennings, Taryn Fomby, Trey Davis, Blaze Thomas, Gage Thomas, Kaylie Davis, Kylon Davis and Triston Davis one greatgrandson, Karson Jennings and numerous nieces and nephews.
