Mary Carter Brady 88 of Hamlin passed away peacefully on March 21, 2019.
Mary was born on January 31, 1931.
She was preceded in death February 7, 2013 by her husband of 60 years Thomas Jefferson Brady.
On April 25th 1952, Mary married the love of her life Thomas Jefferson Brady. They resided in Hamlin, TX all their lives together.
Mary was a sweet, fun loving wife who was always ready to host friends and relatives who would come to visit. She and Tom loved to talk, tell stories, play cards, watch sporting events and go out to eat.
She opened an Antique store in 1965 buying and selling and helping her husband with "Tom's Trading Post" until retirement. Mary loved Hamlin and was a great supporter of the Pied Pipers.
Mary and Tom traveled many places together. Two of their favorites were a fishing camp near
Zapata, TX in the winter and in and around Ruidoso, NM. in the summer. There they would
meet up with friends and enjoy the time together talking, telling stories, playing cards, and
Mary is survived by many nephews and nieces,
great-nephews and nieces, and great-great-nephews and nieces
Mary was one of Americas Greatest Generation and will be missed by the many who knew
and loved her.
